New York, I Love You

Photography by: CaiteeSmith Photography

I love when it rains in the city- there’s a certain calmness about it that resets a busy environment.  I love seeing everyone walking around with their umbrellas out as they hurry inside to their destination.  Although my photographer was drenched, I loved shooting these pictures in the rain because the colors outside are more vibrant when everything is wet, and there’s a glow on the pavement that I really enjoy looking at.

With that being said, New York is amazing; I spent my time walking a lot of Brooklyn and all of Manhattan, specifically Park Ave. The shopping is amazing.  The food is amazing.  I would definitely live there if I could!

Let’s talk about these pumps though.  If you’re looking for a pair of pumps that literally go with everything, look no further because these are the holy grail!!! (and it’s kind of a big deal for me to say that because I’ve worn LOTS of heels)  I’ve never worn a more comfortable 4 inch heel in my life.  Sam Edelman just recently put a lot more padding inside the shoe which makes them extra comfy.  I’ve noticed too that the weight is evenly distributed so that not all of the stress is on the ball of your foot.  Every girl needs to get a pair of these!

A couple other thoughts regarding this outfit:

I’ve been living in this scarf all winter, and right now it’s on sale for a really awesome price!  Act fast, because they are selling out!

This jacket is also pretty amazing as well.  Mine is still going strong after 2 solid years.

…but if you’re looking for a really good pair of heels at a decent price point, you really MUST go with Sam Edelman though… you won’t regret.
